Referred to as mini Kaziranga of Assam, lush wilderness awaits in Orang National Park. Swampy grassland with landlocked beels (wetlands) and slightly higher woodlands of the park are quite similar to Kaziranga. Rich in flora and fauna, the park is known for welcoming migratory birds and receives winged wonders like milky white pelican that fly all the way from America!

Guwahati railway station, well connected with most cities of India, is the nearest railway station.
32 km from Tezpur and 140 km from Guwahati, the park is an easy drive from both the cities. Buses leaving from Guwahati to Tezpur stop at Orang turnoff on the main road.
